68th Emmy Award Nominees!

Nominations for the 68th Emmy Awards were announced last week by the US Television Academy. Naturally we’re most interested in those that relate to Sound Editing and Sound Mixing, so would like to send sincere good wishes to all those fortunate to have been named.

During the ceremony, Television Academy Chairman and CEO Bruce Rosenblum set the nominations in context of a resurgent industry enjoying the most spectacular run in its history with breakthrough creativity, emerging platforms and dynamic new opportunities for our industry's storytellers. Whilst established award-winning series like Game of Thrones, House of Cards and Gotham are represented, newcomers such as Roots, Mr. Robot and The Night Manager have also been recognised.

We’re especially proud to see a number of our friends and clients included in the list; Mike Wabro (Game of Thrones), Howard Bargroff (4 nominations, 2 each for Night Manager and Sherlock:The Abominable Bride) to name but two.

This is of course shameless self-promotion (!), so in the interests of maintaining a balanced approach, you can see the complete list of nominees here.
